Sharing Session with Japanese Government Representatives

On the 18th of January 2019, Dr Afdallyna was invited by d.school Malaysia to present how Design Thinking can be applied at public service sector. She represented the Ministry of Education perspectives to the Japan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (Government Information Systems Planning Division, Administrative Management Bureau). The session also involved representatives from Malaysia Ministry of Health and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In the session, she illustrated samples of students' prototypes, ideation sessions that took place in our smart classroom as well as how Design Thinking have aided in her research work. The Japanese visitors were in awe of how the approach is very practical and feasible in the education sector.
