FSKM Shares Big Data Expertise

FSKM has yet again made its mark in Big Data by being part of 6th Malaysia Statistics Conference (MyStats 2018) on 19th November 2018. The Dean of the Faculty , Prof. Dr. Hajah Azlinah Mohamed , who is the advisor for Advanced Analytics Engineering Centre of Excellence (AAEC) had been invited as a panellist for a forum on Data Science and Analysis . The forum was chaired by YBhg. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mohd Uzir Mahidin, Chief Statistician Malaysia, Department of Statistics. During the forum , Prof. Dr Hajah  Azlinah Mohamed shared her knowledge on future directions of data science and analysis in strengthening decision making. Along with her in the discussion were Puan Hazami Habib, Chief Executive Officer, Academy of Sciences , Mr Jacob Isaac, Managing Director of New Technologies, Fusionex and Mr. Sadish Ray General Manager of Data & Analytics, CTOS Data Systems Sdn Bhd . There were around 500 participants from compilers, statisticians, researchers, regulators, academia and practitioners attended the conference.
