On 23rd of May 2017, a meeting took place between an international e-commerce company, Alibaba.com with the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences team. Alibaba.com were represented by two of their Global Operation Experts, Mr. Matthew and Mr. Winters while the faculty representatives were led by Associate Professor Dr. Haryani Haron. The meeting’s objective was to discuss possible collaboration program between Alibaba.com and UiTM , namely the Global E-commerce Talent (GET). Among the collaboration program agenda are GET certification for both lecturers and students. Another agenda that was discussed is the organizing of an international e-commerce innovation competition. This possible collaboration will lead to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Alibaba.com and UiTM
