It is with immense pride and pleasure to announce that the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences (FSKM) will be sending a group of students to the International Information Technology University (IITU) Kazakhstan as part of the mobility student exchange programme spearheaded by the Office of Research, Industry, Community and Alumni Linkages (PJIMA).

Students will begin their journey as exchange student and FSKM Global Ambassador from mid-February to May 2017. In response to that, a flag off event or Majlis Pelepasan Pelajar Program Mobiliti UiTM-IITU was held on 26th January 2017.
During the event, Prof Dr Hjh Azlinah Hj Mohamed, the Dean of FSKM has given her decree on the expectations of the faculty as well as how students should behave as FSKM, UiTM and Malaysian ambassador. In response, the students took their pledge in the form of AkuJanji as well as prayers for safe journey and well-being while abroad. The event then concluded with the officiation of mobility student social media sites and photo session.
FSKM would like to convey its many thanks to Prof Dr Hjh Azlinah Hj Mohamed as her presence has motivated the students to be their best. Also, thanks to Dr Zaibunnisa Abdul Haiyee who has represented the Director of Office of International Affairs during the event.
Well done to the lecturers and students who have made the event a success. We pray for the success of the student exchange group and hope they will return home safely and with new global mind-set further establishing FSKM in Excellence.
