1st National Microsourcing Workshop |
organised by CBIC, Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences UiTM Date: August 29, 2012 Venue: Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur CBIC hosted a one and half day microsourcing to Generate Income for the B40 Strategic study workshop on August 29-30, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur, Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor. The purpose of the workshop, was to bring all relevant stakeholders to discuss on Micro Sourcing economic potentials and opportunities, growth of local micro sourcing platform that covers on issues and challenges, progress monitoring indicators and mechanism and platform online trust and security aspects; and to obtain corporation and commitments from all parties involved in realizing the micro sourcing project. About twenty-one organizations, from Government Agencies, ministries, private sectors, and Non-government organization (NGO) had attended the workshop. Overall, there were about forty five participants including two subject matter experts as workshop commentators, and seven facilitators from UiTM and UPM. Objectives : › To discuss microsourcing economic potentials and opportunities, › To identify the potential growth official microsourcing platform that covers issues and challenges, › To identify and discuss critical enables and review key performance indices, and › To obtain corporation and commitments from all parties involved in realizing the microsourcing project.
