welcome four members of National Institute of Technology, Ube College (NIT UBE) Japan
13th March 2019 marks another milestone on international efforts in FSKM. It was a great honour and privilege to welcome four members of National Institute of Technology, Ube College (NIT UBE) Japan; Dr Hideki Misawa, Dr Noki Nomoto, Mr Yosuke Hara and Ms Sumie Kobayashi to FSKM. The faculty was represented by Dr Norjansalika Janom (Head for Centre of Information Systems Studies), Dr Azlin Ahmad, Assoc. Prof. Dr Shuzlina Abr Rahman, Dr Azliza Mohd Ali and Pn Sofianita Mutalib.
The visit from NIT UBE was part of a UiTM ground visit where apart from FSKM, the delegates also visited FKM and FKE. In FSKM, the japanese delegates were accompanied by En Mohd Fadhli Shah Khaidzi from the Office of International Affairs (OIA), where they were introduced to FSKM Big Data Lab, Advanced Analytics Engineering Center (AAEC), Intelligent Information Systems Lab as well as teaching computer labs. Their visit further paves the way forward for FSKM as it is a continuation from the inbound summer programme exchange that took place last September 2018. They look forward to more mobility programmes attested from the dialogue held with the faculty representatives yesterday.
The faculty would like to convey special thanks to Dr Judith Gisip, Coordinator of International Students and Development, OIA UiTM for arranging this visit. We hope to further work with OIA in placing UiTM at the world map.
