Two of our very own FSKM students, Nurin Miza Afiqah bt Andrie Dazlee (Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons.) Intelligent System Engineering) and Amirul Ashraf b. Ahmad Zaidi (Bachelor of Information Technology (hons)) have had the chance to be among the 10 chosen participants from Malaysia to join Seeds for the Future @Huawei?Program. Bridging the talent gap since 2008, the Seeds for the Future is a global initiative that has successfully been implemented in 125 countries worldwide and over 4800 students have benefited from this program.
To be shortlisted for this esteemed program, candidates are required to submit their resumes and an essay entitled "Malaysia’s Digital Economy". Two of our very own FSKM students, Nurin Miza Afiqah bt Andrie Dazlee (CS243) and Amirul Ashraf b. Ahmad Zaidi (CS240) have had the chance to be among the 10 chosen participants from Malaysia to join this rewarding program.
Despite the program being done online, the experience has been invaluable. Participants had the chance to join a virtual tour around Hutong, live session with experts and underwent online courses on Huawei’s ILearningX platform. The courses were mainly on ICT, Cloud Computing, AI and Huawei Mobile Services. The graduation ceremony was held at 10.30 am on 18th December 2020, via Zoom.
Since 2014, Huawei Malaysia cooperated with the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) has provided over 86 Malaysian undergraduates to be fully immersed Huawei business operations, cross-cultural work practices and Chinese culture.
