Main focus / Objective Set up and install a computer lab on the ground floor of the school specifically for the special need students
Program content Set-up a computer lab with software specifically for the special need students. Bringing the students to the faculty for a one-day program.
Achievement A computer facility for the school. Community service awareness amongst UiTM students.

Achievement Computer facility to the community. More informed community. Students with community service awareness
Conclusion Children doest have to travel far to obtain computer facilities. Indigenous community are more IT savvy to perform daily tasks.

Main focus / Objective To increase the ICT knowledge and facility amongst the single mother community. Design and develop an app for the single mother to increase the income and improve lifestyle.
Program content Develop mobile apps for the usage of e-business amongst the single –mother community. Set up a computer facility for the usage of the Single mother community member to use Bringing the single mother to the faculty for the launch of my-IBU apps.
Achievement Use of my-IBU mobile apps. Increase of computer skill and more expose of their business in my-IBU apps. Increase of income for the single mother
Conclusion Narrow digital division between the underserved community. Students with community service awareness.

Jalinan Transformasi IT with Orphanage

Main focus / Objective Provide IT facility at the orphanage; Provide ICT knowledge among the members of the orphanage; and Provide motivation to the members of orphanage
Program content Installation of internet ready computer center at the orphanage; Program for the members for a one-night stay in the university; Hands-on IT course; and Motivation talk by special guest
Achievement Computer lab facility in the orphanage; Motivated members of orphanage; and UiTM students instil with community service awareness
Conclusion Orphans from the orphanage are more IT savvy and motivated to pursue their studies.

Main focus / Objective
  • The organization of this program was part of a joint effort by the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics to assist Section 24, Shah Alam Community Citizens with the provision of five computers.
  • The grant is an initiative to enhance the social well-being through exposure to the use of computers and access to accurate and useful information.
  • To improve the well-being of the community through computer skills in line with the current requirements of information technology and make it easier for the community to find information.
  • The program is a UiTM community service activity in collaboration with the Office of the Industrial, Community, Alumni Network Office (ICAN), the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics Task Force Unit and the CS2406A FSKM students to serve the surrounding community.
Program content 1 Family 1 Computer Program & Collection of preloved computers that are still in good condition will be made through applications to the private companies and government agencies in Putrajaya, the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor through the cooperation of FSKM Alumni.
Achievement The program was successful and benefited the Citizens of Section 24, Shah Alam to improve their computer skills in line with today's technology needs. This community service promotes collaboration between the parties involved and UiTM students in helping the local community. Students can inculcate community spirit and awareness through community service programs.
Conclusion This program give an impact in enhancing the network sustainability network of universities, industry, community and alumni as one of the 11th Malaysia Plan's agenda to improve the quality of life of the community. Opportunities to use of ICT facilities such as computers can help to access information from all over the world while also facilitating learning at home. Access to business information through e-business portals can create business opportunities and generate revenue for the local community.

  • to improve the social well-being of the community by building computer skills in line with the current state of information technology; as well as making it easy for children to complete their school assignments using a computer.
  • To bridge the digital divide between the people of Section 24, Shah Alam who are blind to IT and the real world of IT
  • To build a sense of urgency and passion for the citizens of UiTM and the Section 24 Community of Shah Alam to work together for a sustainable living through the cooperation of this program.
  • To establish social responsibility among UiTM members, industry and society.
Program content
  • Ramadan (fasting month) grocery and provision contribution to the people in needs who are reside in Section 24, Shah Alam
  • IT foundation workshop to equip them with computing knowledge that will complement their efforts in the IT world.
  • Computer repair service – refurbish the used computer and setup the telecenter in Section 24, Shah Alam Musollah.
  • Mini Workshop on e-commerce platform / e-business portal

  • The execution of this program is part of the efforts of the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Science to assist the Citizens of Section 24, Shah Alam and is a continuation of the 1T1K 2.0 initiative to help in increasing the income of the people, especially the Section 24 community.
  • Through this program, the community also been asked to introduce their products (if any) to be marketed to the public by electronic commerce (e-commerce) networks.
  • The implementation also opens up opportunities through the provision of an ideal platform for practical training, thus bridging the digital divide of the less exposed community in this regard.
  • The program provides the community with information on the use of computers by teaching them using email, the internet and most importantly in using e-commerce platform.
  • This program attempt to improve the well-being of the community through computer skills in line with the current requirements of information technology and make it easier for the community to find information.
