Final Camera Ready Paper Submission

The following information is provided to help you with the preparation and submission of the final camera ready paper before it can be published in the conference proceedings. The steps for successful submission are as follows:

 

Step 1 The final paper submission is linked to the registration. At least one author must register and commit to pay the conference fee before uploading the camera ready paper. Please go to the registration page to complete the registration. The conference fee must be paid by 25th July 2016. Please submit the ‘proof of payment’ (scanned copy of payment document) to i-user2016@tmsk.uitm.edu.my.

*Kindly be reminded that the registration will only be processed after we had received this ‘proof of payment’ document.
   
Step 2 Authors should consider the reviewers comments and revise their manuscript accordingly. The final camera ready paper must be formatted according to the IEEE formatting guidelines, which can also serve as a template for preparing your manuscript. The maximum number of pages (including figures, tables and references) allowed is six (6).
   
Step 3 The camera ready paper must be submitted in IEEE Xplore®-compatible PDF as a single file. Therefore, the paper should be certified by IEEE PDF eXpress, the IEEE's online PDF file diagnostic tool.

The tool helps authors to convert their MS Word file to IEEE Xplore®-compatible PDF file or to verify if the PDF file they have created is compatible with the IEEE Xplore format. If the file is not compatible, you need to make the correction and be verified by IEEE PDF eXpress until it is successfully verified.

Your final paper must be converted to PDF format using http://www.pdf-express.org/plus/ using 38587XP as Conference ID.

  1. Click on the button below to log into the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus website.

  2. Click on the link “New Users – Click here” and fill in user’s information. User needs to enter the conference ID, which is: 38587XP
  3. You will receive an email from IEEE PDF eXpress™ confirming your new account and access information. (Note: If you do not receive this email within 24 hours, contact Technical Support at this e-mail PDFSupport@ieee.org). Once the account is created, the user can access the IEEE PDF eXpress website.
  4. To begin, click on the "Create New Title" button, and enter the paper title. Next, click on the "Submit File for Checking or Converting" button before submitting a MS Word file for conversion, or a PDF file for verification. If there is a problem with the file, the user will receive an e-mail detailing the problem(s); otherwise, a confirmation of successful conversion or verification will be emailed with a copy of the converted/ verified IEEE Xplore®-compatible PDF file attached.

If troubles are encountered when creating or verifying the PDF file, please contact the IEEE Publications Support Centre. Please take note that PDF eXpress is not a paper submission system. The author needs to rename and send the certified IEEE Xplore®-compatible PDF file of the paper to the organizer .
   
Step 4 Complete the e-Copyright transfer Form (eCF) and send via email toi-user2016@tmsk.uitm.edu.my by 25th July 2016 with your paper ID in the subject of the e-mail.

On completion, the authors will be forwarded to the IEEE electronic submission page and authors can complete the rest of the formalities, over there.

* Please note that failure to follow the above instructions may lead to the exclusion of the Final Manuscript from the conference proceedings.
   
Step 5 After using the IEEE PDF eXpress and IEEE eCF, please submit together the THREE (3) files; (i) final camera ready file in MS word , (ii) final camera ready file in IEEE Xplore®-compatible PDF, and (iii) copyright returned by eCF by 25th July 2016 to i-user2016@tmsk.uitm.edu.my with your paper ID in the subject of the e-mail.
   

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO AUTHORS

Only the papers of the authors who have registered for the conference, paid the conference fee, uploaded the camera ready paper and submitted the copyright transfer form by 25th July 2016 will be included in the i-USEr 2016 conference proceeding.

 “IMPORTANT NOTE: To be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of a paper is required to register for the conference and the paper must be presented. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (i.e. removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.”

Successful registration and the acceptance of the final submission will be acknowledged via email to the designated corresponding author. The printed receipt of the conference fee will be issued at the time of the conference.
